# 📢 Important Update - Revision in STT Rates w.e.f. 1st April 2026

Dear Traders,

As per the [circular](https://nsearchives.nseindia.com/content/circulars/FATAX73524.pdf) issued by the NSE (Circular Ref. No. 02/2026), the **Securities Transaction Tax (STT)** rates for **F&O trades** will be revised effective **1st April 2026**.

### 🔄 Revised STT Rates:

- **Options Sell:** 0.10% → 0.15%

- **Options Sell (Exercised):** 0.125% → 0.15%

- **Futures Sell:** 0.02% → 0.05%

👉 All other STT rates remain unchanged.

⚠ **What this means for you:**  
The revised rates will be applicable to all eligible trades executed from **1st April 2026 onwards**. We recommend factoring in these changes while planning your trading strategies, especially for F&O positions.
