Dear Community Members, We are excited to announce the launch of Pay Later, a feature designed to give you flexibility and control over your trading and investment journey. With Pay Later, you can leverage Margin Trading Funding (MTF) and [T+5 (CUSPA)](https://tradebetter.5paisa.com/t/what-is-t-5-cuspa-feature/226) facility, enabling you to use your collateral margin for delivery trades. **What’s New and How Does It Impact You?** 1. Flexible Order Placement: Delivery or Pay Later ● Now: You decide! On the order form, choose whether to place an order as Delivery (cash-and-carry) or Pay Later (leverage using collateral). ● Benefit: Full control over your trades and margins. 2. Margin Requirements ● Delivery Orders: Need 100% cash margin upfront — simple and straightforward. ● Pay Later Orders: Margin is calculated based on script leverage. Use your collateral to explore your buying power. Pay Later facility is now available up to a funding of 1 crore. 3. Script Eligibility Transparency ● More than 1200+ stocks are available under Pay Later for MTF. ● On the Pay Later screen, you’ll instantly know if a script is eligible for MTF or if it will be booked under the [T+5 (Cuspa)](https://tradebetter.5paisa.com/t/what-is-t-5-cuspa-feature/226) Feature along with the exposure. 4. Clear Segregation of Ledgers & Margins ● Earlier: Your Equity ledger and MTF ledger were combined, often showing confusing net balances that impacted your trading and payout capabilities. ● Now: Separate ledgers for Equity (cash for trading/investing) and MTF. You can easily see your actual cash available for trading and payouts without confusion. 5. No More Auto-Closure ● Previously, MTF positions could automatically close if you added sufficient ledger balance. ● Now, you control when to convert your Pay Later holdings to Delivery through a simple ‘Convert to Delivery’ request in the platform, subject to sufficient funds. 6. Manage Your Holdings and Requests Easily ● View all your Pay Later MTF scripts in the Current Holdings section. ● Place to buy orders or convert holdings to delivery. ● Track all your conversion requests in the Request Summary section — processed the same day with margin blocked immediately. ● Partial or full quantity conversions are supported, with one request per script per day. **How to Activate Pay Later?** ● New users: Activate instantly from the Order Form \>\> Pay Later / Margin page by accepting the terms. ● Existing Margin Plus users: Pay Later is already active for you. **What Means for You:** ● Control and flexibility in choosing order types. ● Better utilization of your collateral for increased leverage. ● Transparent visibility of your trading and ledger balances. ● Simplified management of your MTF and delivery positions. ● Seamless tracking and conversion of holdings. Not sure why this is being forced upon people who are not interested in this (eg. me). I did not select pay later order. The combined ledger showed funds available. And today they are not. I looked into the ledger statement. Its more confusing than ever. Had a two hour call with your support team to clarify the same. At the end, nothing came out as different representatives had different explanation for these transfers. ---

Hi Selvi No, you cannot directly convert your intraday position to MTF. To do so, you’ll need to square off your current position and initiate a new position under MTF. ---

After introduction of T+5 5paisa app has the worst user friendly option. I am facing lot of problems with my VTD orders. These orders are rejected daily even though I have sufficient margin. Worst app now. I think it is an useless updation. ---

Iam regularly using the MTF feature but I have one concern, Why you are not offering VTT orders for MTF & Commodity segments? ---

Hi @swamiprasad_samant We have introduced the **GTT in MTF** feature in our new app. If you’re an Android user, you can download it from the Play Store by searching for **5Paisa 2.0**. Thanks for the the implimentation, But it would be highly appreciated if you extend this feature to the web terminal, and I have installed the new app and tried to place the GTT orders in mtf segment but the option to buy the stocks on breakout is missing i.e. SL-Limt & SL-trigger options are missing only market & Limit orders are available. Requesting you to introduce this feature aswell.
