We’ve made your trading journey even more seamless with the “Trade from Charts” feature on tv.5paisa.com. Whether you’re a casual trader or someone who trades at high speed, this is built just for you.

:technologist: For Normal Traders

Here’s how you can place and manage orders directly from the chart:

:small_blue_diamond: Placing Orders:

  • Click on Bid/Ask (top-left)

    OR
  • Use the ‘+’ icon on the price scale of the chart.
    :right_arrow: Fill in your Qty & Order Type (Limit/Market), hit Place Order, Confirm the order!

:small_blue_diamond: Modify Orders:

  • Click on the order line to edit Qty/Price
  • Or simply drag the line up/down to change price and confirm!

:small_blue_diamond: Cancel Orders:

  • Click the Cancel icon and confirm.

:small_blue_diamond: Square Off/Reverse Positions:

  • Once your trade is executed, a position line appears showing real-time P&L.
  • Use quick action icons to reverse or square off instantly.

:high_voltage: For Option Traders & High-Frequency Traders

:small_blue_diamond: Multiple Chart Layouts:

  • Open 2/4/8 charts to track the underlying + option legs simultaneously.

Want lightning-fast execution?
Go to Settings > Trading > Enable Instant Order Placement.

Now you can:
:white_check_mark: Click Bid/Ask to place Market Orders

:white_check_mark: Use the ‘+’ icon to place Limit Orders instantly


:white_check_mark: View live P&L on position line, and square off/reverse with 1 click

:white_check_mark: Drag & drop SL lines to modify stop loss visually

:white_check_mark: Use Account Manager to monitor all positions & orders in one place

@Mayur kindly bring the scalper mode in tv platform.
Also, autosave for charts, instead of manual layout saving.

We truly appreciate your suggestions on introducing a Scalper platform and we want to inform you that this is already in testing and by 1st week of Aug we will launch it. For Auto save layout we will get it verify and fix it.

Thanks for your reply. Kindly get auto save layout asap as it will save lot of time.
Also, if the order panel gets a tab on the right hand side or on the tab like a drop down, it will be easy to access with clear visibility.

we can’t able to change the candle color in 5paisa chart.. if we changed the candle color as per our wish, then if we go to any other orders, position. then came back to chart means, the chart color will be as per the default green and red candles only visible.. try to add tab for save layout for user preference.

Thank you for sharing this and we understand the pain of changing the colour again and again, We will work on it and will update. Till that time you can expand the chart and click on save layout.

We are not big fan of tradingview charts at all… normal chart IQ charts are enough..

i always used to place an order in .EXE platform.. please focus on that platform that I already mentioned in my previous email to support@5paisa.

You mean TTweb right? We will give save layout option on the ttweb chart page.
