We are excited to announce the launch of Pay Later, a premium feature designed to give you greater flexibility and control over your trading and investment journey. With Pay Later, you can leverage Margin Trading Funding (MTF) along with the T+5 (Cuspa) facility and unlock the power of your collateral margin for delivery trades.

What’s New and How Does It Impact You?

  1. Flexible Order Placement: Delivery or Pay Later
  • Earlier: Orders automatically went into Margin Plus / MTF if your cash balance was insufficient, without your choice.
  • Now: You decide! On the order form, choose whether to place an order as Delivery (cash-and-carry) or Pay Later (leverage using collateral).
  • Benefit: Full control over your trades and margins.
  1. Margin Requirements
  • Delivery Orders: Need 100% cash margin upfront — simple and straightforward.
  • Pay Later Orders: Margin is calculated based on script leverage. Use your collateral to boost your buying power!
  1. Script Eligibility Transparency
  • More than 800 stocks are available under Pay Later for MTF.
  • On the Pay Later screen, you’ll instantly know if a script is eligible for MTF or if it will be booked under the T+5 (Cuspa) Feature.
  1. Clear Segregation of Ledgers
  • Earlier: Your Equity ledger and MTF ledger were combined, often showing confusing net balances that impacted your trading and payout capabilities.
  • Now: Separate ledgers for Equity (cash for trading/investing) and MTF. You can easily see your actual cash available for trading and payouts without confusion.
  1. No More Auto-Closure
  • Previously, MTF positions could automatically close if you added sufficient ledger balance.
  • Now, you control when to convert your Pay Later holdings to Delivery through a simple ‘Convert to Delivery’ request in the platform, subject to sufficient funds.
  1. Manage Your Holdings and Requests Easily
  • View all your Pay Later MTF scripts in the Current Holdings section.
  • Place buy orders or convert holdings to delivery easily.
  • Track all your conversion requests in the Request Summary section — processed the same day with margin blocked immediately.
  • Partial or full quantity conversions are supported, with one request per script per day.

How to Activate Pay Later?

  • New users: Activate instantly from the Order Form >> Pay Later / Margin page by accepting the terms.
  • Existing Margin Plus users: Pay Later is already active for you.

  • Greater control and flexibility in choosing order types.
  • Better utilization of your collateral for higher buying power.
  • Transparent visibility of your trading and ledger balances.
  • Simplified management of your MTF and delivery positions.
  • Seamless tracking and conversion of holdings.
